Nations forced into cowardice

As most of you would have heard by now about the shooting rampages in America and Germany, the usual calls for stricter gun control are being thrown about. The whining is always the same, take away the guns, ban them, we don't need them, we'll be safer without them, ban them, this and that. On and on it goes. Most in the western world would agree, most of us have given up our guns, we've outsourced our safety and responsibility to the state that supposedly cares.

Many of us have been beaten up, bashed, raped, murdered etc by criminals with weapons that are banned. Weapons that we are not allowed to possess, just recently close to 200 people were shot and killed in India, which has strict gun control, if that's not a failure of gun control, I don't know what is. Yet here we are still carping and whining and insisting that guns must be banned and all that. Well, alright, take them away then, surrender all weapons. If a few get killed and all that, it's alright, an acceptable loss, as long as it's not one of us, never mind, they'll just have to take a few bullets and blades for that team.

Only one problem with that, you know how those gun-nuts [myself included] often prattle on about the state turning against us citizens and who can hold them accountable to the will of the people if they become tyrannical. What if that day is already upon us, what if that's not just some wild fantasy.

Daily Mail - A firebrand preacher yesterday added insult to the injury caused by Islamic extremists' hate-filled protest against soldiers returning from Iraq. Anjem Choudary taunted the grieving families of three Royal Anglian Regiment members killed in a 'friendly fire' incident. He said troops in Iraq and Afghanistan were 'not heroes but closer to cowards who cannot fight, as their uncanny knack for death by friendly fire illustrates'.

The three soldiers to whom he was referring - Privates Robert Foster, 19, John Thrumble, 21, and Aaron McClure, 19 - were killed in Afghanistan in August 2007 when an American F-15 jet dropped a 500lb bomb on their position. Choudary's extraordinary comments were delivered hours after Muslim protesters waved offensive placards as members of 2nd Battalion-Royal Anglian Regiment marched through Luton.

This can be just about anywhere in the western world. If you tried the same thing in a Gaza or Dubai or Iran as in, hold a march down the main street and shout out that the shaheed, martyrs and all that are all just a bunch of dumb wankers and sheep-shaggers, you'll be lucky if you make it out of the country alive. You'll probably be lucky if you even get a trial, let alone a fair one.

Yet, here in the western world, if you and a couple of the boys head down to Luton with some baseball bats to rearrange some teeth and put some boot to ass, your own state will come after you. The Muslim extremist can say the vilest things about you and your nation's defenders and get away with it. Your own governments will ensure that you cannot do a damn thing and if you do, they will prosecute you.

When something like this happens, you can't go and file a complaint or something, you can't sort this out with a meeting of some sort. I know it's not the law of the west and all that, but the world we live in is a jungle. And the law of the jungle is that you can't say such things and expect to go unpunished. I'll leave it up to you to figure out what should really be done.

Now, some of you might believe in 'common-sense' gun control, things like why should people be allowed to own an automatic weapon for example. Go read that story over in India again, if you saw 10 terrorists running around throwing grenades and carrying AK-47s, would you limit yourself to a puny handgun to defend yourself? Those muslims in Luton, spitting and abusing the nations defenders, what if 50 or 60 of them have surrounded your house and feel like beating the tripe out of you, good luck with your handgun? I know it's better than nothing, but the odds aren't really in your favor.

Coming back to these cretins, here they are, on your land, spitting and pissing all over those who lay down their lives for the nation. They came to your land, they weren't dragged kicking and screaming into Britain. And yet, they're pissing all over you and your heritage and what's worse, your elected government stands by and actually arrests you who are rightly outraged and willing to defend the nation.

So now that we westerners have given up our guns, what options do you have. The best you in the west have is write some sort of pansy letter to some elected parasite somewhere and hope he/she gives a rat's ass and utters some useless platitudes and ultimately does nothing. You can start some sort of useless petition and have a good whine about it. You can shuffle off angrily to the voting booth and vote for someone else hoping they won't screw you over, but that's still all you can do.

It's as plain as the nose on your face, the state is no longer your friend, they won't defend your nation and they won't let you defend it either. Even if you have the will to defend your nation, you don't have the means to do it. You are forced into cowardice, emasculated and humiliated, dhimmitude if you will.

Still think it's a good idea to give up the only means to defend your nation when all others and all else has failed.
