They’re just funny now – in a sad sort of way

Since Ahmadinejad is likely too busy fiddling with fissile material, Jew hating and tinkering with centrifuges and such, I thought I’d try and fill in for him.
The British government expressed concern Monday over Iran's announcement that it has dramatically expanded its nuclear program.
Just to clear things up, was that grave concern or just plain concern and will this be escalated to deplorable? If not, why not.
"We are concerned that Iran appears to have confirmed more nuclear enrichment activity" in violation of UN resolutions, the ministry said in a statement.
Listen dumbass, I didn’t ‘appear’ to confirm it, I am confirming it, back to concern I see. Perhaps I should light a fire-cracker under your arse so you can confirm that I have lit a fire-cracker under your arse. And will you be concerned or gravely concerned?
"We have always made it clear that we are happy for Iran to have a civil nuclear power program, but they have to satisfy the international community that that is what it is seeking to develop. "The international community stands together in ensuring that Iran does not develop the means to acquire nuclear weapons."
Well I’m happy that you are happy too, as for the standing together, we didn’t see anyone ‘standing with you’ while we were entertaining a few of your soldiers and offloading our excess rocks, stones and spoiled vegetables at your embassy down the road.
In London, the British Foreign Office said Iran should suspend uranium enrichment immediately.
Oh really and if we don’t, what are you going to do old chap, send over a destroyer, don’t bother, you’ll waste the fuel and a few of you will whine about global warming and the carbon footprint. Face it, we can help ourselves to your citizens any day of the week, we can parade them around for the world to gawk at and the best you tossers can do is whine that one of them was shown smoking.

Update – it’s even sadder

Thanks Pommygranate, you know it’s no wonder militant Islam has no respect for Christianity anymore, back in the day there’d be angry men on horse back swinging sharp swords coming after you if you get out of line. But now there is groveling before and after, just non stop appeasement. I mean who out there can respect an adversary whose only response is to ‘grab ankles’ no matter what you do?
The Bishop of the Forces, the Rt Rev Tom Burns, said that the religious beliefs of the Iranians had played a large part in their decision to release the hostages after holding them for more than two weeks.

Bishop Burns said he had issued an appeal to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, "in the name of his nation and in the name of Islam", to free the sailors and marines, but he could not be sure whether his appeal had reached the authorities in Iran. He added that the Iranian's Islamic faith shared many religious values with Christianity. "Over the past two weeks, there has been a unity of purpose between Britain and Iran, whereby everyone has sought justice and forgiveness where that is appropriate," he said.

Bishop Nazir-Ali said the Iranians had scored "something of a coup" by appealing to their religious traditions in freeing the hostages. In sharp contrast, Britain had failed to refer to any higher values. "I saw on the one hand what Iran was doing, and what the president [of Iran] said had much to do with the moral and spiritual tradition of their country," he said.

"The president talked about the religious background to the release, with reference to the Prophet's birthday and the passing over of Christ. What struck me was that if there were any values on the British side they were free-floating and not anchored in a spiritual and moral tradition."
If there any British with some pride left in their congregations, they’d be floating elsewhere freely and hastily. These are not leaders, they are small men happy to bicker over scraps.
