Stating the obvious?

I am not sure why this story is appearing all over the media outlets, I would have thought Dubya is simply stating the obvious. I'm sure most of us would agree that Dubya sums it up pretty well.
US President George W Bush has been caught on microphone using an expletive as he discussed Hezbollah's rocket attacks on Israel.

"The irony is, what they really need to do is to get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit, and it's over," Mr Bush was heard to say.
What's the matter with the media, are we now trying not to offend these terrorist vermin, after all what has decades of polite diplomatic waffling and cajoling with the terrorists got us.

Perhaps the media are unhappy that Dubya has the spine, not to mince his words, unlike many in the media who are brave to chastise America and Israel, but suddenly misplace their spines when it comes to criticising terrorists and publishing the 'cartoons'.
