And the Survey Says...!

I was looking at some numbers this evening and decided to create a couple of charts. The first one illustrates the results of Canada's last General Election on 28 June 2004. Of the 308 Seats in the House you can see the Liberals hold 135 while the Conservatives have 99 seats.



In the next illustration we see the projected seat totals, based on the latest data, if an election were to be held today.




As we can see the Conservatives have surged past the Liberals and continue to climb. The most recent polling data actually indicates the Tories could be within reach of a majority government! Wouldn't that be nice.
